About
Coloma
My Childhood
I’m Coloma, which means dove in my mother language, Catalan. I embrace my name by being devoted to spreading inner freedom and peace.
I have held deep reverence for all things Nature-related since I was a child; I used to observe and read books on Earth and animals since I can remember.
I believe my passion about life started when I would spend hours in the water and climbing trees. I am highly empathetic, sensitive, and intuitive, and I am committed to utilize these gifts in the work I do.
Born and raised in a little village near Barcelona, my parents were deeply conscious and incredibly caring of the environment. They loved animals and plants as much as I do, and there was always music playing in our house. We would spend summers at the beaches in Menorca and every spare time, my parents, brother and I would participate in cultural and community events.
My mother would make the most delicious meals and my dad would bring his wisdom and structure onto the table. I was lovingly raised in a healthy environment where I was constantly encouraged to grow. I received love and support throughout my childhood while I engaged in artistic projects and advocated for sustainability.
I have always had a deep love for all beings and our planet and a relentless drive to support individuals in living free from self-imposed limitations and conditioning. I believe in the power of the collective healing for communities to thrive.
My Educational Background
I have been against medication for as long as I can remember. I advocated for the innate power that our bodies have to come back to homeostasis at a very young age, and showed my reverence toward everything Nature-related by initiating campaigns against plastic or foil in school.
I participated in several local non-profits and worked along Jane Goodall to defend animals' rights.

My Professional Experience
My first years in Clinical Psychology and research were spent at Hospital del Mar Research Institute (Barcelona), where I would conduct several studies using brain imaging under the Department of Psychiatry.
After finishing my degree in New York City I came back to my home town to work at a Detox Clinics. Soon after, I also started my private practice in a Psychology Center in which I incorporated Holistic and Integrative Health.
Driven by my interest in how the mind-body connection work, I enrolled in my double Masters degree. I then worked as a Researcher and Conservationist at the Barcelona Zoological Park.

I was recruited by an international company that works with non-profits globally, and I stayed there as a Consultant. I led several campaigns while serving as the Office Manager at the branch in Barcelona.

After a year of burnout, I bought a one-way ticket to Bali where I studied Ancient Medicine and Yoga philosophy under renowned gurus.
Soon after was yoga certified, I underwent a motorbike accident in which I was told I would never walk again... Instead of pushing through, I took that as an opportunity to slow down and recover from so many years of high-functioning. On a wheelchair, I took a flight to California and found my home in Venice, where I still reside and share my teachings with my community and clients.
I bring my knowledge in marketing, communications, project management, professional training and skill building, as a Consultant for projects that align with my philanthropic vision, while working full-time as a Women's Empowerment Coach, specialized in Identity issues, Life Transitions, Anxiety, Trauma, and Relationships. As a member of the Association for Women's Rights in Development (AWID) and American Holistic Health Association (AHHA), or The Embody Lab, amongst others, I focus on empowering women to choose healthy lifestyles that create vibrant wellness and an enhanced quality of life.
My Unique Approach
Usually, what we do when we have pain is to resist it, numb it, shame it, rationalize it, bypass it. This creates further disconnection and perpetuates feelings of stuckness, which in turn amplifies our coping mechanisms that will continue to drive us further away from ourselves - our creativity, energy, power -.

Aliveness is not about feeling good. It is being WITH life. It means we don't need to control and try to change the world around us to feel okay within. We live and love from a place of WHOLENESS, not trying to fit in anywhere but rather showing up with absolute integrity. The process of restoring health from the inside out requires the learning of strategies to unlock the most confident and radiant fearless side of ourselves that unravels when we live from deep embodiment, fulfillment, and alignment.

I have helped thousands of clients learn why they get dysregulated and how to transform pain, frustration, or anxiety into pleasure.

Health is Freedom.
It is Attunement to your UNIQUE NATURE.
It is to respond to INTUITION over societal norms.
It is to somatically be available to yourself.
It is to be curious and OPEN to the mysteries of uncertainty.
It is to access your ancient WISDOM.
It is to embrace change and discover your MAGIC.
It is to be your own INSPIRATION.
It is to LOVE yourself fully.
